The WAY-D application has been specifically designed to meet the needs of our clients' drivers and salaried drivers. Its features, such as time tracking and paid leave management, reflect this business focus.
Data hosting and storage
All software solutions published by WAYNIUM are hosted in France. The data stored by our customers in these software solutions is not transferred outside the servers we administer.
Individual user authentication on the WAY-D mobile application
WAYNIUM publishes a mobile application dedicated to drivers employed by companies with a licence agreement for the WAY-Plan software. The WAY-D application is designed for the execution and operational coordination of assignments.
Each employee user has a personal and unique username and password, which are associated with their user account. Access is strictly individualised. The solution does not allow collective access, group clocking in, or impersonal actions.
Supervised use of geolocation
When using the WAY-D app, geolocation is activated when the driver is on a job. Geolocation is automatically deactivated when the driver is no longer on a mission or when they log out of their user account. During an ongoing mission, the driver also has the option of deactivating the geolocation function in the application settings and in their mobile phone settings.
Geographical tracking of drivers on the WAY-Plan software is limited to instant consultation. In accordance with the principle of data minimisation, no GPS location history is generated or archived.
Thus, the WAY-Plan solution does not allow for constant surveillance or tracking of users outside of periods of voluntary and active use of the application.
Data history
The WAY-D application operates without local storage: all data displayed remains the property of the client and is centralised on their WAY-Plan instance.
The mission history can be exported in CSV format directly from the WAY-Plan interface.
In accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC), data extraction by our services is strictly reserved for the WAY-Plan licence holder.
