WAY-Plan update November 2023: Version 1.27

Release date: from November 23, 2023 for beta testers.

The main changes: secure email delivery 

1. Authentication of the addresses sending your emails is compulsory.
   We will first go through an information phase during which your messages will be sent even if your addresses are being configured.

    Attention 
   Even if you have recently made a configuration, you are still affected because an additional configuration is required: DMARC..

   As long as your address is not detected as fully authenticated, a message will be displayed on an orange background after each email sent:
   

   
   
   "Please note, you are using our email server with incomplete settings. This affects the reputation of the sending servers and therefore increases the rate of SPAM. Sending with incomplete settings will soon no longer be possible.
   Go to Mail > SMTP Server WAY-Plan to find out what settings you need to make, or contact support for assistance."
   
   For the moment, sending emails will not be blocked if authentication is not up to date. 
   
   We are aware that you are not "computer experts", which is why our team is at your disposal to help you with these settings.
   
   Note: You are not affected by these blockages if you use a GMAIL address that you have set up dual authentication and a recent configuration in WAY-Plan.
   
   

2.  Creation of a "blacklist" :
   • People who no longer wish to receive messages from you can click on a "Do not receive any more" link in the email header.
   • Their addresses will then be listed in your blacklist. Mail menu > Blacklist
   • If you try to send a message to an address listed in the blacklist, the message will be blocked and an informative error message will be displayed.
     
     This function prevents these people from using the "spam" function of their mailbox and identifying your address, and our servers, as a "spammer". By clicking on "Do not receive any more", your messages will be blocked from this recipient, but the reputation of your sender address will not be affected by this action.

What has been corrected/improved  

• Dashboard: distinction of years by different colors on sales evolution graphs

• Save your schedule: Restart automatic emailing of your schedule in CSV format. It will be sent twice a day, at 8am and 8pm Paris time, to the e-mail address of your choice.
  Contact support to activate the function.
• Jobs > Jobs exportation menu: Add 2 parameters to the CSV export of jobs.  
  
  • "Internal note" added
  • Addition of the "deputy without invoice" role
    As a reminder: it is possible to configure several schedule export templates. These exports will be available in the green arrow to the left of the schedule.. 
    

• SMS menu > Configure your SMS : Add an indicator to configure SMS messages sent separately: Add an indicator to configure separate SMS messages sent:
  • "to the PASSENGER with the driver's details via the number of min above" 
  • "to the DRIVER with the passenger's details via the number of minutes above".
    
    
• Planning > Search (magnifying glass icon): Addition of a "non-valued missions" filter which only displays missions that do not have a fare.
  
  
• Sending a manual SMS: removal of the limit on the number of characters.
  
  
• Dashboard: distinction of years by different colours on the turnover evolution graphs.
