Online payment option with Stripe

Since version 1.28 of WAY-Plan, you can send a payment link to your customers to receive credit card payments.

Only a connection with Stripe can be set up. In future, only this link will be maintained. Links already in place with other payment solutions will remain connected until they can no longer be maintained.

Which payment methods are accepted by Stripe? 

The following payment methods are accepted

• Bank card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and China UnionPay.
• Wallets: Google Pay, Apple Pay, Link.

How to subscribe to the "Online payment" option

To subscribe to the option, go to "Settings > Online payment" and follow the procedure. Registration can be interrupted during the process and resumed at any time.

Good to know:

1. Only the manager or financial officer of the company can register with Stripe.
2. Even if you already have a Stripe account, you'll need to create another one so that it can be linked to WAY-Plan.

How to send a payment link 

The credit card payment link can be sent for any type of payment: deposit on a quotation or proforma, balance of an invoice, late payment.

1. Create a payment due date. 
   1. On the file, click on "Manage payments" from the buttons on the right.
   2. Enter the details of the new due date: amount to be collected, desired date.
   3. Confirm
2. Send a message with the online payment link by clicking on the letter opposite the payment due.
   
3. When the customer clicks on the payment link, they will open a web page with your logo showing the amount to be paid.
   
4. By clicking on "validate", the customer will be taken to the Stripe payment page where they will choose their payment method.
5. Stripe will send the payment information received in WAY-Plan to :
   
   • complete the due date entered in WAY-Plan,
   • if the invoice has been issued, automatically change it to "paid invoice".

Good to know: Receiving an online payment does not automatically create an invoice.

How much does the option cost?

In addition to Stripe's standard terms and conditions, there is a charge per transaction for maintaining the option.

All the details will be displayed in the Stripe dashboard linked to your WAY-Plan account.
