Connection with GNET
WAY-Plan is now connected to the GNET ‘GRiDD Transportation Network’ to give you a chance to receive assignments from the thousands of companies that are already members of the network. You can register with GNET at https://gnet.grdd.net/registration/ . Conditions of use to be validated with GNET directly.
Once you have subscribed to GNET, to activate the link and the ability to send and receive assignments, send your GNET identifier and the identifiers of your GNET affiliated partners by email to support@waynium.com .
The purpose of the connection is to :
- Find your GNET partners in the Partner tab of your schedule to send them assignments.
- Receive assignment proposals in ‘New requests’.
The level of data synchronisation with your partners depends on GNET and the data accepted by your partner's software.
Please note:
Connection with GNET incurs costs for sending and receiving assignments. These costs are borne by GNET and should be checked directly with your contacts when you register.
Receiving a mission from a GNET partner
To receive an assignment from a GNET partner:
- By email to support@waynium.com, give us your GNET identifier, which you will find on your GNET interface, top left.
- In GNET, invite your partners and wait for them to accept.
- In WAY-Plan, if you haven't already done so, create a customer file and a customer contact file for this partner.
- Once accepted, enter the customer ID corresponding to your partner in the red field of the GNET record.
NB: To find the customer ID, also known as the CLI_ID, go to your customer's page.
Example: For the customer below, enter the number 10 in the ‘Affiliate's customer id in your system’ field on GNET.
Once the settings have been made, all the new bookings sent by your partners will be grouped together under ‘New requests’.
Sending an assignment to a GNET partner
You can send missions to a GNET partner directly from the Partner/Driver box of a job.
To send a mission to a GNET partner:
- By email to support@waynium.com, give us your GNET login, you will find it on your GNET interface.
- In GNET, invite your partners and wait for them to accept.
- In WAY-Plan, go to the partner's record under Partners > Partner Subcontractors and fill in the fields below:
(Network entity : GNET / Network external reference is your partner GNET ID that can found in your affiliate partner list on GNET dashboard)
Whether receiving or sending a mission via GNET, modifications and status changes are synchronized between the two systems.
IMPORTANT: For each new partner, send a test mission first to ensure that the GNET connection with your partner's software does not require adjustments. Any data synchronization issues must be reported in a detailed email to support@waynium.com for correction.
Terms of Use :
- The terms of use for the connection are published on the GNET site: https://connect.grdd.net/dashboard
"Optimize your partnerships and billing with GNet"
Connect with partners in the GNet interface
Use the GNet search to find your partner, then click Send partnership request.
Add the partner's account number in GNet Once connected, go to the Partners tab → Affiliate Partner. Find your partner, click on the card to open their company profile. In the pink box, enter their LimoAnywhere account number and save.
Configure billing in GNet Go to Administration → Billing in Connect to set up billing.
Fees are $1.50 for receiving from a distributor and $1.00 for receiving from affiliate partners."
Note: The level of data synchronization depends on GNET and your partner's software.
The limitation of using the network is that it's a three-way feature: WAY-Plan, GNET, and the partner's software. While we control what we send to GNET, we do not have control over aspects related to GNET itself and the partner's software.
Furthermore, the GNET support team is based in California, so in case of technical issues, we must wait at least 24 hours for a response.
