Who can deactivate a profile?
Only company administrator profiles have permission to deactivate an employee profile. If you are not an administrator, please contact the person in charge of your company's settings.
How do I deactivate a collaborator?
Here are the step-by-step instructions:
- Go to the ‘Settings’ menu.
- In the ‘Settings’ menu, click on the section dedicated to ‘Collaborators’. This is where all your team members are listed.
- Find the name of the collaborator whose profile you want to deactivate and click on their name. This will open their profile page.
On the collaborator's page, you will see a button labelled ‘Status: Uncheck to block the collaborator's access:’. To deactivate the profile, simply uncheck this box. (Don't forget to click on ‘Modify’ at the bottom of the page to save your action).
What happens after deactivation?
Once you have unchecked the ‘Status’ button, the employee's profile is instantly deactivated.
- The employee will no longer be able to log in to their WAY-Plan account.
- The history of their actions within the software will be retained. This means that all the operations they have performed (creating files, making changes, etc.) will remain accessible and traceable, which is essential for the continuity of your business and for auditing purposes.
