Why a 6-digit code? What's it for?
Since April 2023, access to the software has been secured by the Google Authenticator application.
This dual authentication process is a way to protect access and the data inside the system from hackers.
Your data is valuable, as is that of your customers, and most of them will ask you for guarantees regarding the storage of their data.
This connection mode cannot be disabled.
First connection
Process to follow for your first connection:
- Download the free Google Authenticator application to your smartphone,
- In the email you received to initialise your account, click on the link to create your password,
- Enter your WAY-Plan account login and password,
- Scan the QR code using the Google Authenticator application,
- On WAY-Plan, enter the 6-digit code displayed in the Google Authenticator application.
Each time you need to access the system, the system will ask you for this 6-digit code provided by Google Authenticator.
If you tick the "Keep me signed in on this browser for 1 week" box, you will only need to enter this 6-digit code for 7 days", unless you change jobs or log out.
All WAY-Plan users must follow the same procedure.
I've lost my phone, how do I get it back?
If you change your phone and the Google Authenticator application was not linked to your Google account, you will need to repeat the process to link your WAY-Plan account with Google Authenticator.
- Download the Google Authenticator application to your new phone.
- In WAY-Plan, select 'Reset my password'.
- Click on the link sent to you by email and enter a 10 character password.
- Login to WAY-Plan with this new password.
- The 'Reload a new QR Code' button will appear. Click it to connect to the Google Authenticator application.
Make sure you scan the QR code with the application and not with your phone's scanner. - Be sure to scan the QR code using the application and not the phone scan.
Your account is blocked, what can you do?
After 3 unsuccessful attempts to connect, your account will be blocked.

How can I remove the connection with Google Authenticator?
It is not possible to remove double authentication with Google Authenticator.
This is an important security feature that prevents malicious intrusion into your WAY-Plan account.
To make it easier for you to log in, a tick box allows you to remain logged in for 7 days on the same device without having to enter your login details or the double authentication code.
