When there are too many duplicates in your databases, this can hinder the use of the software and distort the management of your files, your stats, the tracking of your assignments, etc.
We recommend that you regularly spend some time managing your databases and merging duplicate elements to avoid this type of blockage.
How do I merge customers?
At the bottom of the customer list, items detected as duplicates are highlighted in red.
To process these duplicates :
- Click on one of the items in the list highlighted in red,
- The list is filtered on items
Select duplicate entries by ticking the box in front of each one.
- Select "Merge" in the box at the top right of the list.
- Select the most complete customer to be retained and follow the process.
Please note: there is no going back: all other customers in the list will be deleted.
All folders linked to these customers will be reassigned to the selected reference customer.
What data can be deleted?
The "merge" function is available for multiple databases, e.g. customers, contacts, drivers, locations, etc.
