Is it secure?
Yes. Stripe is one of the most trusted and widely used payment processors on the market.
Additionally, using Stripe means that customer credit card numbers are not stored in your system, which is strongly discouraged for security reasons

I’ve set up my Stripe account, but the first payment isn’t working
If the payment link you sent does not lead to the correct page, please make sure your IBAN is properly linked to the corresponding business entity.
Once this is configured correctly, the payment link should work without any issue.
My company has several bank accounts. Can I choose which IBAN receives the payment?
Yes. If you have multiple bank accounts, you can configure multiple IBANs via: Settings > IBAN
Create a Stripe account for each IBAN,
Link your main business entity to the main IBAN,
Assign specific clients to a specific IBAN, so the payment link they receive directs funds to the appropriate account.
Can I link my personal Stripe account to WAY-Plan?
You’ll need to create a second Stripe account dedicated to your business, by following the instructions under:
Settings > Online Payment
Is the payment link automatically sent with the invoice?
No, absolutely not. You decide on a case-by-case basis whether to send a payment link with an invoice.
Typical use cases include:
Securing a booking by requesting a deposit,
Collecting late payments.
Real-life example:
A client owes you money, and you call them to follow up. While on the phone, you can:
Send them the payment link via email,
Stay on the line while they complete the payment,
Confirm that the payment has gone through – WAY-Plan will automatically update the payment tracking with the received amount.
Pricing Questions
How much does it cost to use the online payment feature?
There is no fixed fee. It works on a pay-per-use basis, with the cost deducted directly from the payments received.
In addition to Stripe’s standard transaction fees, there is a 0.9% maintenance fee per transaction for the integration.
Example:
For a payment of €80, this fee will apply automatically.
All transaction details will be visible in your Stripe dashboard connected to your WAY-Plan account.

Are there any fees if I don’t use the feature?
No. Registration is free, and nothing is added to your monthly WAY-Plan license if you don’t use it.
So if you only use the feature twice a year, you will only be charged the corresponding transaction fees for those two payments.
Stripe deducts its service fees before transferring the funds to your bank account.
